The Qur’an links human purpose with worship of Allah. Life is described as a test of our deeds. Faith is connected with caring for others, giving, keeping promises, and patience. Learning Islam is therefore about everyday character as well as religious knowledge.

Read the qualities described in Quran 2:177 and consider how belief, worship, giving, promises, and patience are brought together. Use the verse itself as the starting point.
